William And Kate Just Had A Secret Meeting At Kensington Palace
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had quite the busy week, as they attended several public appearances during the week, as well as a private engagement at home away from all the cameras on Wednesday.
At Kensington Palace, William and Kate held a trustees’ meeting in their roles as patrons of the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. We don’t know exactly what was discussed at the meeting. However, it is most likely that William and Kate talked about all the ongoing and upcoming projects that are connected to their foundation.
For Prince William, he has show considerable in the causes of men’s mental health, homelessness, the illegal wildlife trade and sports, while his wife Kate has always been passionate about children’s mental health, the arts, sport and the outdoors.
This isn’t the only engagement they had this week.
Kate stepped out for three different engagements, starting with the one on Monday, when she joined other members of the royal family at the service to commemorate Commonwealth Day. She looked as gorgeous as ever in red, bringing back a coat that she once wore during her royal tour of Canada.
Then, on Tuesday, the mother-of-three spent some quality time with some adorable babies and toddlers at the Henry Fawcett Children’s Centre.
There she learnt more about the work that is being done by local organizations in Lambeth to support young children and their families. For this engagement, Kate went with something more chic, going for a purple Gucci blouse and wide legged trousers.
She also chatted with her fellow mums, sharing stories and complaining about their children. She told one mother who has a son similar in age to Prince Louis: “Louis just wants to pull himself up all the time. He has got these little walkers and is bombing around in them.”
It seems that a Duchess’ work is never done, as later that night, the Duchess visited the National Portrait Gallery, as she is patron of the organization.
There she mingled with the likes of Princess Beatrice, David and Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss and Liam Payne at the star-studded charity night, and looked stunning in a black Alexander McQueen dress that featured a floral print.
