When Will Prince William And Kate Meet Niece Lilibet
Last Friday the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released the long-awaited news that they have welcomed their second child. Royal fans were overjoyed by the news that Prince Harry and his wife Meghan had just welcomed their daughter. The couple also revealed her name immediately after-Lilibet Elizabeth Mountbatten-Windsor.
So when will the rest of the royal family get to meet the newest member of the royal family? We are certain that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are especially excited to meet their niece, hopefully in the coming months.
It is very likely that the two families will come together for some kind of event or celebration, such as a wedding or christening, with Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall’s babies being christened in the near future.
With the UK removing all restrictions on June 21st, the US still has them in place, so it is uncertain when Prince Harry and Meghan will get the chance to travel together with their two children Archie Harrison and Lilibet Elizabeth Mountbatten-Windsor.
Royal fans are hopeful that they will get to see the whole royal family together in the UK just in time for Christmas or even next year’s Trooping the Colour-which will be a special edition celebrating the Queen’s 70-year rule, so all the ceremonies and pageantry will be turned up to eleven for the Queen’s birthday.
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, surely can’t wait to meet their new cousin Lilibeth, as her older brother Archie has already made a close bond with the three Cambridge children time staying in the UK.
Back in 2019, fans finally got to see all the cousins together at a polo match in Wokingham, where the two families went to watch Prince William and Prince Harry take part in the match.
There the fans saw the then two-month-old with his cousins for the first time. William and Kate had already met their nephew shortly after his birth in May 2019, with Harry and Meghan waiting a little while to introduce the infant to his three older cousins.
Even though that was said to have been the first time the Cambridge children met Archie, it was revealed later on that Prince George had already met his cousin at some point, with details of the meeting never being revealed. It’s not unusual for royal children to meet their relatives much later.
In 2014, George wasnt introduced to his cousin Mia, the daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall, until she was two months old.
According to the announcement, Harry and Meghan’s daughter was born on June 4th at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA. In a statement released on their website Archewell, Harry and Meghan said: “On June 4, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili.
“She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”
