The Hidden Meaning Behind Meghan’s Red Dress For Morocco Arrival
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Morocco on Saturday night with Meghan looking stunning as ever in a Maison Valentino outfit.
Meghan Markle made quite the first impression to the crowds when she arrived in Morocco in a red dress-a fashion choice that has more behind it than at first glance. As they touched down in Casablanca last night, the pregnant Duchess went for the red Maison Valentino outfit.
The dress itself has strong connotations in the north African country. Besides the fact that it is the colour of the national flag, it has more than that. For Moroccans, the colour red represents hardiness, bravery, strength and valour.
Meghan finished off her look with nude heels and gloves paired with a Valentino clutch bag worth just £1,643.
The royal couple met with the 15-year-old Crown Prince, Moulay Hassan-who is one of the richest teenagers in the world. He greeted the royal couple at the entrance of the royal villa in the grounds of King Mohammed’s palace.
This is believed to be the first ever official meeting between the British royal family and the heir to the royal crown of Morocco.
During this three day trip, the couple has planned a few things, such as meeting with the Moroccan royal family, visiting the Atlas Mountains and meeting with the organizations which work to help young people.
