The 2023 Royal Tour Prince Louis Could Make Hus Debut On
The Prince and Princess of Wales’ youngest, Prince Louis, turns five this year in April and may get the chance to debut on a royal tour.
The young prince has already delighted royal fans on his debut walk to church on Christmas day last year. Prince Louis also appeared during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, most notably at Trooping the Colour.
There is, however, a very logical reason as to why Louis has not yet made an official overseas visit.
During the Prince and Princess of Wales’ five-day tour of Pakistan back in October of 2019, all of their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, remained in the UK – at the time Kensington Palace described the visit as the royal couple’s “most complex tour” to date.
The year after, 2020, travel became especially difficult due to the pandemic and the royals remained in the UK for most of it.
Prince William and Princess Catherine had their first joint overseas tour since the pandemic, a 10 day visit around the Caribbean, in March of last year – George, Charlotte and Louis remain home for this one as well.
At the time Louis was enrolled at Willcocks Nursery School, while his older siblings weren’t yet transferred out of Thomas’s Battersea school in London.
Prince William and Princess Catherine’s youngest, Prince Louis, has made a name for himself early – outshining the royals with his playfulness and charming personality when on a rare public appearance.
Naturally, the young royal has already made friends of his own in school. Last Friday, Lambrook, the school the Prince and Princess of Wales’ children attend, shared the activities of Pre Prep pupils, those in Louis’ year group.
“Pupils in the Pre Prep welcomed one of our Partnership Schools this week to join them for a Nature themed morning of Art and Drama – it was wonderful to see them not only inspired by everything they learnt during their morning, but also happily forming new friendships #nature,” read the caption of the Instagram post.
