Prince William And Kate’s Next Glamorous Event Revealed
Prince William and Kate already have a set schedule for November, and among those engagements is a glamorous date night. The couple will attend the Royal Variety Performance on 18 November.
The star-studded event will be held at the Royal Albert Hall, London. Hosted by Alan Carr the event will include performances by Ed Sheeran, Rod Stewart, Anne Marie and James Blunt.
The theatre casts of Moulin Rouge and Matilda will also take the stage, as well as the performers of the smash hit Cirque du Soleil.
The Royal Albert Hall’s official website says: “This year’s performance is set to be one of the Royal Variety’s most memorable and enjoyable shows in its long history. As usual, ITV will film the theatrical production for television broadcast in the UK in December and then around the world over the Christmas and New Year festive holidays.”
This year’s celebration marks “exactly one hundred years of patronage from the reigning monarch, beginning with King George V in 1921,” according to the historic venue.
This special night is an event that happens every year and is in aid of the Royal Variety Charity, which has the Queen as a patron, with all the money raised from the show will go to hundreds of entertainers throughout the UK, who need assistance and help as a result of old age, ill-health or hard times.
Due to the global health pandemic that hit the world, last year’s Royal Variety Performance took place in Blackpool but without an audience due to the pandemic.
Prince William and Kate were the last royal guests in 2019, with Kate looking stunning in a black lace Alexander McQueen gown. The first time they attended the show together was back in 2014, and then again in 2017 and 2019.
