Meghan Marks Harry’s Birthday With Previously Unseen Photo Of Archie
Happy Birthday, Prince Harry! To mark his special day, the Duchess of Sussex has wished her husband Prince Harry a happy 35th birthday with a message on Instagram.
Meghan posted a collage of photos of Harry throughout his life. They begin with him as a child in Princess Diana’s arms; show him growing up with his brother William; take in his military service and charity work abroad; photos of his wedding day and ending with a previously unseen photo of him with baby Archie and wife Meghan.
The black and white photo is taken on Archie’s christening day by photographer Chris Allerton. It shows Archie wearing his christening gown as he is held by Meghan, while Harry looks up lovingly at both of them.
Accompanying the photos, she: “Wishing a very happy birthday to His Royal Highness Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex!
A birthday message from The Duchess of Sussex: ‘Your service to the causes you care so deeply for inspires me every day. You are the best husband and most amazing dad to our son. We love you. Happiest birthday!'”
Sending sweet birthday messages via Instagram has become a custom for the Sussexes ever since they created their social media account.
In August, when it was Meghan’s birthday, Prince Harry posted an equally touching message
“Happy Birthday to my amazing wife. Thank you for joining me on this adventure! – Love, H,” it read.
The message was accompanied by a beautiful photograph of Meghan taken during their royal tour of Morocco.
It’s an exciting time for royal fans as they will be seeing a lot more of Harry and Meghan over the next few weeks. The couple, accompanied by Archie, will head to South Africa together, while Harry will also visit Angola, Malawi and Botswana between September 23 and October 2.
It will be their first official overseas trip as a family and will focus on “community, grassroots leadership, women’s and girls’ rights, mental health, HIV/AIDs and the environment.”
Earlier this month, ahead of their upcoming trip, Harry shared his excitement with a personal message on the couple’s official Instagram account.
He wrote: “In just a few weeks our family will be taking its first official tour to Africa, a region of the world that over the past two decades has been a second home to me. Our team has helped create a meaningful programme that we’re so excited to share with you. On a personal note, I can’t wait to introduce my wife and son to South Africa! We’ll see all of you very soon.’ – The Duke.”
