How Meghan’s Trooping The Colour Debut Compares To Kate’s 7 Years Ago?
Being Queen of England brings many responsibilities. However, it comes with many privileges. One of them is having two birthdays. Today is her annual birthday parade, Trooping the Colour, and her whole family is at Buckingham Palace to celebrate.
Among the other members, there is the new member of the family, Duchess Meghan. Three weeks after she and Harry got married, she attended her first Trooping the Colour. And she looked really stunning during the event. Now she is about to make her official debut on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the annual event.
Meghan, embarked on the carriage processional with her husband Prince Harry. Duchess Catherine and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall rode ahead of them.
When it comes to Kate’s first Trooping the Colour, she rode with Harry, Camilla and Prince Andrew. In 2011, Kate decided to play it safe and colour-match with her step-mum-in-law Camilla. She opted for a white, Alexander McQueen coat and matched it with a black hat.
She was all smiles as she greeted the attendees on the streets around on that June day in 2011. The new Duchess Meghan did the same alongside her husband today.
Kate had already appeared on the famous balcony before her first Trooping, when she and Kate did the kiss, twice, after the wedding ceremony.
This is Meghan’s first time on the balcony.
Meghan, went for a pale pink off-the-shoulder dress by Carolina Herrera. She matched it with a Philip Treacy hat, which we already knew she was a fan of since she rocked up to Prince Charles’ 70th wearing one of his works of art.
We are minutes apart of seeing Kate and William’s kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. And of course, every other member of the family. Enjoy!
