Everything You Need To Know That Happened At The Royal Wedding Reception!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are officially husband and wife! The wedding ceremony ended few hours ago. And now it’s time for party.

The couple drive off to the evening reception hosted by Prince Charles. It is a smaller sit-down dinner for 200 guests at Frogmore House on the estate grounds. But now there are a few things you need to know about what happened at the wedding lunch reception.

The wedding cake is to be served at the Reception. The royal lunch reception was hosted by Queen Elizabeth II at St. George’s Hall at Windsor Castle. The newlywed and their guest feasted, and laughed, and cried.

According to People, Prince of Wales, gave a heartfelt speech. And apparently because of it, Prince Harry got very emotional. His father, Prince Charles talked about “how proud” he was of the man his son had “grown into.”

“He ended it calling him, ‘My darling old Harry, I’m so happy for you,’ which was very sweet,” and added, “how he’s really happy for them both.”

Also Prince Harry, the groom, gave a speech and thanked everyone for coming. “He did all the ‘Thank you’s,’” before getting lots of cheers by saying, “my wife and I.” OMG, MY WIFE!!!

Kensington Palace revealed that Elton John, Diana’s singer, performed at the lunchtime reception.  Kensington Palace statement reads: Sir Elton John has performed at the lunchtime reception for the newlyweds, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
