Dad William Just Revealed Princess Charlotte’s Exciting Birthday Party Plans
Today, Princess Charlotte is celebrating her fourth birthday. And mom and dad are making sure their girl is having the birthday of her dreams.
Dad William revealed he would be hosting a celebration for birthday girl Charlotte when he made former Children’s Laureate Julia Donaldson a CBE, during a Buckingham Palace investiture ceremony.
Author Julia Donaldson shared with ITV that William “said it was Princess Charlotte’s birthday and she was going to have a rowdy party.”
She said after meeting William: “He said it’s his daughter’s birthday today and he loves the book. He reads my stories to his children, and he said he was going to have quite a rowdy party – he’s got a lot of children (coming).”
To mark Princess Charlotte’s special day, William and Kate released three adorable photos of their little girl.
Keeping with tradition, the photos were taken by Duchess Kate last month. They show the little princess posing and frolicking around at their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall.
A statement from the Palace read: “Thank you for the lovely messages for Princess Charlotte’s fourth birthday! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share three new photographs of Princess Charlotte ahead of her fourth birthday.”
The message continued: “The photographs were taken in April by The Duchess at Kensington Palace and at their home in Norfolk.”
The first picture sees Charlotte sitting down on the grass at Kensington Palace. She is dressed in a pretty blue floral smock dress. The other two were taken in the family’s garden at their country home, Anmer Hall.
Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born at the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington at 8.34am on May 2 2015, weighing 8lb 3oz. She is the second child of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge she is fourth in line to the throne.
Uncle Harry and auntie Meghan also wished the little Princess a Happy Birthday! “Happy Birthday Charlotte! Lots of love, H and M xo,” along with emojis of a cake and a red balloon. They also ended the message with a ‘xo’, which translates to a kiss and a hug.
Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, also shared a loving note on their own Instagram account. They wrote: “A very Happy Birthday to Princess Charlotte, who turns four today. ??”
