When Will William And Kate Meet Baby Archie Harrison
William and Kate plan to visit their newborn nephew Archie this week. The couple is expected to travel from London to Windsor to meet the Sussex baby, who was born one week ago on 6 May. They will surely bring Archie some gifts and perhaps something for his parents, who’ll be able to receive some parenting tips from Cambridge.
Prince Charles and Camilla, who’ve been on a visit to Germany, will visit the Sussexes later in the week.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are adjusting to their life as new parents in their home in Windsor and have had visitors call in. The Queen and Prince Philip were some of the first royals to meet Archie. Despite it being a private moment, the Sussex couple shared a photo of the introduction on their Instagram account, while also revealing their son’s full name, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother, can be seen in the background of the photo, while The Queen took centre stage, cooing over her eighth great-grandchild.
It was also reported by The Telegraph that Lady Jane Fellowes, Princess Diana’s sister, has paid a visit. Harry is really close to his aunt and his mum’s side of the family and is keen to keep her memory in his life.
Archie was first shown to the world when he was just two days old, taking part in a photocall with his mum and dad at St George’s Hall in Windsor last week. He was asleep while mum and dad opened up about parenthood, with Meghan saying: “It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy. He has the sweetest temperament, he’s really calm.” “I don’t know who he gets that from,” teased Harry. Meghan said: “He’s just been the dream so it’s been a special couple of days.”
