Harry Revealed A Sweet Thing During The Interview We All’ve Missed
After what felt like the longest nine months, baby Sussex is officially here! And no one’s more excited than proud daddy Harry! Moments after it was announced that Meghan gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Harry also shared the good news during a live BBC broadcast.
After his interview, Harry revealed off camera that he had very little sleep. “I’ve had about two hours’ sleep,” he confessed.
A smiling Harry also apologised for the short notice and thanked press for coming down. He even joked with one cameraman who said sorry for not wearing a tie, telling him “you’re a cameraman, you can get away with it”.
At first, Harry and Meghan announced that they will keep birth plans private. However, Harry couldn’t contain his happiness and followed tradition with a brief interview for the press about his new son’s arrival.
And his interview was so sweet, he melted our hearts!
According to Patti Woods, a body language expert, his reaction is genuine and heartfelt. “Most of his movements — shrugging shoulders, grinning smile, and rocking motions — are ‘up movements,’ which is his way to express his feelings of joy and exuberance,” Good House Keeping reports.
On Monday 6, Harry and Meghan welcomed their first child. Baby Boy Sussex was born at 5.26am and weighs 7lbs 3oz.
“It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined,” Harry said earlier.
“I haven’t been at many births. This is definitely my first birth – it was amazing, absolutely incredible. I’m so incredibly proud of my wife. And as every father and parent would say, your baby is absolutely amazing. But this little thing is absolutely to-die-for so I’m absolutely over the moon.”
Harry also shared: “I think we will be seeing you guys in probably two days’ time as planned as a family to be able to share it with you guys and so everyone can see the baby.”
We are so looking forward to seeing the new parents and their bundle of joy!
