The Gift The Queen Will Give To Baby Sussex
The baby Sussex is due any day now, and we don’t know anything about the gender or the due date. But we do know that the baby will be the most spoilt baby since the last royal baby, Prince Louis.
While Harry and Meghan have been busy prepping the nursery in their new Frogmore Cottage home. The rest of the Royals have been thinking about what they’ll do for the arrival of the Sussex baby, and the Queen particularly will be making a tribute to the newest member of the family.
According to Grant Mobley, a diamond expert and gemologist, the Queen will probably pass down her special Botswana Flower brooch.
Mr Mobley told Marie Claire: “There are many heirlooms among the Queen’s impressive jewellery collection, but the Botswana Flower brooch is a frontrunner as a potential piece to be handed down to the soon-to-arrive royal baby. Given to the Queen by the President of Botswana in 2007, the elegant brooch features 11 stunning pear-shaped natural diamonds set in yellow gold.”
“Botswana has significant meaning to Meghan and Harry-after travelling to the country together in the early days of their relationship, Harry later chose a diamond from Botswana as the feature stone in Meghan’s engagement ring. The natural diamond industry has transformed the country of Botswana, enabling every child there to receive free education up to the age of 13. Prior to the diamond discovery, Botswana was one of the poorest countries in the world, but since then it has been transformed into one of Africa’s most prosperous nations.”
He also said that he believes that, if the baby is a girl, her mother will pass down the Galanterie de Cartier studs that she wore on her wedding day.
