Meghan Makes Surprise Appearance As Husband Harry ‘Drags’ Her On Stage

On Wednesday morning, Meghan surprised guests at a very special event at Wembley when she made a surprise appearance at stage thanks to a cheeky husband Harry.

While Harry was giving a speech at an event for WE Day UK, a local initiative to encourage young people to take part in positive social change.

Speaking as president of The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, Harry said: “I’m not going to try and drag my wife on stage.”

His comment provoked screaming and cheering from the excited crowd.

Then Harry walked towards the side of the stage to help Meghan get up on the stage, prompting everyoneĀ to burst into wild cheers.

“I am with you and we are with you, now get to work!” Harry told the youngsters, hugging his pregnant wife at his side.

Pregnant Meghan was all smiles as she showed off her baby bump and looked stunning wearing all black along with a navy blue blazer.

At the event, Harry spoke about ambition, mental health and climate change. He said the next generation gives him ā€œhope for the futureā€ and praised their attitudes towards ā€œchampioning the causes that will shape your futureā€.

ā€œTo be amongst all of you progressive, motivated, open minded, change-makers, is what gives me hope for the future,ā€ Harry told the crowd.

ā€œYour optimism is inspiring – you see opportunities where other people see challenges; you seek solutions when others just focus on problems.

ā€œYou are the most engaged generation in history. You care about values, doing the right thing, and championing the causes that will shape your future.ā€

This event follows a series of royal engagements the pair have been on in recent days.

Just yesterday, Harry and Meghan joined the rest of the Royal family to mark the 50th anniversary of the investiture of the Prince of Wales at the Buckingham Palace.

The next time Meghan will have her own time in the spotlight will be on March 8. The Duchess will join Adwoa Aboah and Annie Lennox on an International Women’s Day panel in London.
