Mystery As Photo Of Meghan At The British Fashion Awards Disappeared
This week, Meghan Markle made an appearance at the British Fashion Awards. At the event, the Duchess of Sussex had the honour to give an award to a close friend of her, Clara Waight Keller, who is actually the one who designed Meghan’s wedding dress for her big day.
Meghan looked absolutely stunning in an off-the-shoulder black gown, with a baby bump noticeably there. After the ceremony, Meghan posed for a GIF-style video alongside Clare and Rosamund Pike, which was posted on the official Instagram account of the British Fashion Council.
But you can no longer check the photo out, as it has been deleted from the page without any explanation. And the podcast Royally Obsessed took note. On their own Instagram page, Royally Obsessed wrote: “The Duchess of Sussex hasn’t given up her Hollywood after-party roots just yet.” They describe the GIF as looking “like an outtake from a Kardashian’s birthday bash”.
So why delete the photo?
The royal podcast thinks that the reason behind this is that the Palace took it down due to the sponsored hashtags attached to the image.
They said: “It may have been the sponsored hashtags (@swarovski was tagged in the post) since the Palace notoriously avoids Spon Con like the plague.”
Meghan is currently pregnant with her child and her due date is sometime in Spring 2019. Her visit to the awards ceremony came as a surprise as there was no official announcement or statement by Kensington Palace that the Duchess would be in attendance.
After being presented with the British Women’s Wear Designer of The Year Award, Clare told the audience: “This woman is so amazing.

“I got to know Meghan on such a personal level, and to have someone like that trust you in an incredible moment in their life is something that is just the most unbelievable honour and I can’t thank you enough.”
