This Is How Prince George Could Mark His 10th Birthday
Prince George will be celebrating his 10th birthday on Saturday and how he going to celebrate is yet to be seen.
The young prince, who is second in line for the throne, has previously had birthday parties at the Windsor estate. However, as it’s the school holidays the family would be able to jet off on holiday.
While George has been seen more and more in public, his parents Prince William and Kate strive to keep their family as “normal” as possible.
George was born at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington to The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on July 22, 2013, and was introduced to the world the following day when he was just over 24 hours old.
Prince George Alexander Louis was named after a number of important royal figures. Namely, The Queen’s grandfather and father, King George V and King George VI, Lord Louis Mountbatten and Her Majesty herself ‘Alexander’ is the male version of her middle name ‘Alexandra’.
While nothing is known about how Prince George will be marking his birthday, it is likely that it will be a private, family affair.
It is also expected that The Duchess of Cambridge will carry on her much-loved tradition of taking her children’s official birthday photographs.
One royal expert says the birthday will likely be a “private” affair. Duncan Larcombe told Fox News Digital : “They’ve always been intensely secretive and private about his birthday.
“They’ve never released anything … in terms of a birthday party, and what they do is shrouded in secrecy.
“We are starting to see him a lot more in public these days, but they’re still very keen on keeping him private property rather than public property. His parents have been incredibly hands-on, and they’ve followed a very similar upbringing Kate would have had with two siblings, a close-knit family. … They’re focusing very much on the value of the family.
“They’ve built quite a unique family unit.”
Last week You Magazine speculated how Prince George may spend his special day.
On the night before his birthday, Kate will likely maintain the Middleton tradition of baking a homemade cake – some thing she does for all her children.
Furthermore, George will host a birthday party with his school friends on the Windsor Estate, it was speculated.
It has recently been a busy time for George, Charlotte and Louis after they made appearances at the likes of the Coronation, the Big Help Out and Trooping the Colour – but now they are enjoying the first week of their summer holidays.

All three youngsters attend Lambrook School near their home in Windsor and will be packing in as much fun as possible before they head back to the classroom on Wednesday, September 6.
The Wales family will likely opt to spend large amounts of their time at Anmer Hall – their Norfolk home on the Sandringham Estate. Another possibility is that they will take a short trip away, whether that is in the UK or abroad. One location that the family has returned to time and time again is Tresco Island, in the Isles of Scilly.
When they are not out adventuring, Kate will likely tap into her love of creative activities and do some baking with her three children. The princess has often spoken about cooking with her children – something they got stuck into ahead of the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations last year.
In the sweet video shared to social media, they were pictured stirring cake mix and decorating cupcakes before they were served at a street party in Cardiff.
