Princess Kate Reveals The Secret Talent She And Charlotte Share
During their visit to South Wales on Tuesday, Prince William and Princess Kate stopped at Aberavon Leisure and Fitness Centre in Port Talbot where they met children from Tywyn Primary School who were taking gymnastic lessons at the time.
Speaking to the youngsters, Princess Kate could be heard asking them: “Can you do the splits?”
Kate, the Princess of Wales, made a beeline for a group of young girls in pretty leotards and asked them: āCan you do the splits?ā
She then revealed: āI was able to do it when I was little but Iāll have to keep practising now.ā
Grace Evans, six, gave the couple a demonstration of the splits and Kate told her: āMy little girl (Charlotte) likes to do that too.ā
Princess Charlotte, the seven-year-old daughter of William and Kate, revealed her love for gymnastics at the Commonwealth Games last August during a family outing.
“She really, really loved seeing the swimming, but she’s interested in the gymnastics, and while they’re trying lots of different sports at home, I understand, when I asked her about sport she answered very easily and said, ‘It’s gymnastics that I like,’ ” Lawler chief executive of SportsAid said.
In addition to gymnastics, it was also revealed that the young Princess likes archery. Paralympic gold medallist Danielle Brown tweeted: āA wonderful afternoon meeting the patron of @TeamSportsAid. Great to talk about the mentoring program, and I discovered that Princess Charlotte likes archery š¹.ā
Princess Kate has also talked earlier about Princess Charlotteās passion. “Charlotte is really into gymnastics, she’s doing cartwheels, handstands, everything,” she first revealed during a visit that saw her and the Duke meet a bunch of circus performers.
“It’s so good for their basic skills of balance and coordination.”
To this Prince William added, “And their flexibility, itās really good for their long-term health, isn’t it? We went to watch the Cirque du Soleil recently, it was amazing.”
