Princess Kate Turns Heads On Solo Visit To Support England Team
Princess Kate turned heads in burgundy as she stepped out in Hampton Court on Thursday to meet wheelchair rugby players. She hosted a reception for the England Wheelchair Rugby League Team after they won the World Champions in November last year.
For the occasion, Kate rewore her Roland Mouret suit from last yearās Boston visit. While in Boston the Princess wore her suit with a pink blouse, today she combined it with a thin white knit.
Princess Kate made her entrance this afternoon in her capacity as patron of the Rugby Football League, which Prince Harry formerly served as a patron before leaving the Royal Family.
When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle relocated to the US, his patronages were divided up among other members of the Royal Family.
Following a thrilling 28-24 victory over France in the Rugby League World Cup Final at Manchester Central, England’s Wheelchair Rugby League team was named World Champions in November. England won its first World Cup with the victory.
As she arrived at the Palace, Kate met with Simon Johnson the Chair of the Rugby Football League.
During a visit last year Princess Kate revealed Prince George is a keen rugby player and Prince Louis is ākamikazeā when he plays the sport.
Talking about George and Louisās enthusiasm for rugby, she said: āTheyāre all enjoying it, Louis is kamikaze, weāre worrying about when he gets older, heāll be in the middle of everything.ā
This visit marks Kateās second appearance for the week. Just yesterday, she visited Foxcubs Nursery in Luton as part of her ongoing efforts to highlight the significance of early childhood to long-term outcomes.
The Princess has long advocated for the importance of early childhood to long-term outcomes, and in 2021 she established The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, which works to raise awareness of and promote collaborative action on early childhood to transform society for future generations.
