Prince William And Kate Just Launched Their Own YouTube Channel
On Wednesday, Prince William and Kate have announced the launch of their very own YouTube channel. They shared a teaser clip on their social media accounts called: ‘Welcome to our official YouTube channel!’
On Instagram, the couple’s caption read: “Better late than never – we’re now on YouTube. Link in bio”.
The video on their YouTube channel starts by Prince William saying to his wife: “You’ll have to be careful what you say now, because these guys are filming you,” to which Kate giggled and said: “I know!”
The video then runs through clips of themselves completing royal duties, including Kate’s Early Years work and their trip to Pakistan in 2019. They can be seen seen walking with the Queen and standing with their children for a clap.
The video ends with another behind-the-scenes clip of the couple together.
Kate can be heard talking to William: “You don’t need to roll your R.”
He asks: “Do I not need to?” to which Kate responds “no” again.
At the time of writing, they have gained over 13,000 subscribers.
One person commented on the video: “You guys are rocking it! I think your approach to the monarchy is inspiring!”
Another added: “Amazing! Can’t wait to see what you’ll be posting”
A third wrote: “It’s a wacky world we live in when the future king and queen are YouTubers. Lovely to see the ongoing modernisation of the Royal Family, keep it up!”
Kensington Royal’s YouTube account will focus solely on the lives of Prince William and Kate and their family.
The royal couple has embraced the use of social media over the past few years. First, they opened their Kensington Royal Instagram and Twitter accounts together with Prince Harry in 2015, as they shared a joint household.
Following Prince Harry and Meghan’s marriage, they set up their own Instagram account named Sussex Royal.
