Prince George And Princess Charlotte Will Face A Change In Their Routine Next Week
Prince William and Kate have been homeschooling Prince George and Princess Charlotte throughout the U.K. lockdown. But, starting Monday, the couple will get their well-deserved break from learning duties as the children are beginning their February half-term break.
Prince George, and his little sister Princess Charlotte are both students at Thomas’ Battersea private day school in London.
Seven-year-old George is in Year 3 while five-year-old Charlotte is in Year 1.
Even though the family won’t have a chance to go off on a vacation, they’ll still get to enjoy the time off at Anmer Hall.
However, last year, during the Easter holidays, Prince William and Kate made a surprising confession.
During a video interview with the BBC, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge laughed when asked about teaching George, Charlotte and Louis, before describing it as ‘fun’.
Kate then continued: ‘Don’t tell the children but we’ve actually kept it going through the holidays, I feel very mean’.
So who knows whether they’ll decide to keep up with the lessons this tie too, or take a little break.
During a video call last month, the Duchess of Cambridge has said the challenges of parenting and homeschooling during lockdown have left her “exhausted”.
She said:Â “I think as parents you’ve got the day-to-day elements of being a parent, but I suppose during lockdown we have had to take on additional roles that perhaps others in our communities, or in our lives would have perhaps supported us and helped us with.
“I’ve become a hairdresser this lockdown, much to my children’s horror, seeing mum cutting hair.
“We’ve had to become a teacher – and I think, personally, I feel pulled in so many different directions and you try your best with everything but at the end of the day I do feel exhausted.”
