William And Kate Pakistan Tour Dates Announced
Kensington Palace has announced the dates of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s upcoming royal tour of Pakistan.
William and Kate, at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, will embark on October 14, and will stay there till October 19.
The dates of the Pakistan tour were released as the Palace revealed the couple will also attend a special event, hosted by The Aga Khan, at the Aga Khan Centre on October 2.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend a special event at the Aga Khan Centre on 2nd October, hosted by His Highness The Aga Khan.
The event falls ahead of TRH’s official visit to Pakistan, which will take place between 14th – 18th October,” they revealed on Twitter.
The details of the tour are yet to be unveiled.
William and Kate’s visit to Pakistan was first announced in late June. It’s the first time in 13 years that a member of the British royal family has visited the country and the trip is at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
William and Kate’s last official royal tour took place in January 2018 when the couple visited Sweden and Norway. At that time, Kate was also pregnant with their third child Prince Louis.
It’s set to be a busy couple of months for the royal family. In three days, Harry and Meghan will start their first royal tour with son Archie. The family will visit South Africa, while Harry will make solo stops in Botswana, Malawi and Angola.
Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall will also be travelling to New Zealand this autumn.
Last we saw Kate yesterday, when she made a surprise appearance at the Sunshine House Children and Young People’s Health and Development Centre in Southwark, south London.
The Duchess of Cambridge was visiting a center that supports young first-time parents and children in London on Thursday, and while there she talked about her own family and experiences.
“She said children grow up so quickly and she can’t believe that George is six already,” Chloe Koroma, 23, said after getting the chance to talk with the Duchess.
Meanwhile, on Monday, William revealed he’s a big fan of Killing Eve, as he opened an exhibition at BAFTA’s new venue in Piccadilly.
