Royal Palace Create Official Page Bio For Meghan, But It Misses One Important Thing!
Meghan Markle, now known as Duchess of Sussex, has been given her own bio page on the Royal Palace website. However, there are an important thing is missing.
Meghan’s bio page mentions in great detail about her charity and humanitarian work for countless organisations. But it failed in one detail.  It doesn’t mention Suits, the show in which she starred for seven seasons. And it was also the height of her acting career.  Instead, it simply says she was “filming in Toronto.”
Also, according to the bio she was born “Meghan Markle.” But, actually, her given name at birth was Rachel. We also heard it in her wedding ceremony on Saturday, May 19.
The page reads: “The Duchess of Sussex, born Meghan Markle, married Prince Harry at St George’s Chapel, Windsor in May 2018. The couple’s official residence is Kensington Palace. As well as undertaking royal duties in support of The Queen, both in the UK and overseas, The Duchess devotes her time to supporting a number of charities and organisations.”
“From a young age, The Duchess had a keen awareness of social issues and actively participated in charitable work. Aged 11 she successfully campaigned for a company to alter their television advert that had used sexist language to sell washing-up liquid,” the bio continues. “Her Royal Highness also volunteered at a soup kitchen in Skid Row, Los Angeles from the age of 13-17. She continued to volunteer at the soup kitchen when she would return home to Los Angeles until the age of 22. These early experiences helped to shape her lifelong commitment to causes such as social justice and women’s empowerment.”
Meghan’s biography also talks about her campaign for gender equality at the age of 11. Meghan had watched an advert for Ivory dishwasher soap which said “women all over America are fighting greasy pots and pans.” So she wrote a letter asking for the “sexist” language to be changed from “women” to “people”.
“These early experiences helped to shape her lifelong commitment to causes such as social justice and women’s empowerment,” the bio states.
You may still be asking yourself why Meghan’s biography doesn’t mention her acting career.  However, Kate’s biography equally doesn’t talk about her work before she became a member of the royal family. Kate Middleton was an accessory buyer for British high street brand Jigsaw before she married William in 2011. A spokeswoman for Jigsaw said at the time: “We can confirm that Kate joined our staff two or three weeks ago as an accessory buyer for Jigsaw and Jigsaw Junior. We can’t comment any further.”
